Wouldn't you have to start the knotting pattern a few rows back from the first row of the pattern because the teardrop loop has angled sides, and are not a straight row? For all the strings except the middle 2? Then start the pattern from row 1?

I work at Costa and one of the customers wanted his milk so hot that it bubbled over the top of the jug and poured scalding hot milk down my hand.
